ON APRIL 28, 1979, TWELVE-YEAR-OLD CHRISTINA WHITE vanished from her friend's house in their small town of Asotin, Washington. Three years later, detectives investigating two murders and another disappearance in a neighboring town made a startling discovery that would lead them back to the very house from which Christina disappeared.
Brandon R. Schrand is an essayist and award-winning author based in Pullman, Washington. When he learned of several unsolved and interconnected murders and missing persons' cases that occurred some thirty miles south of his home, he decided to look into them with the intent of writing a magazine piece.
After several months of research and investigation, however, he abandoned the magazine piece and decided to launch his very first podcast.
From the beginning, Brandon aimed to differentiate his show from others that have discussed these tragedies by dedicating the entire podcast to the cases, doing his own research, and inviting listeners to participate in the investigation--all in real time.
Because he believes that these cases are not only solvable, but that the answers so many are seeking could come sooner than later.
